We also provide test information sheets to help patients understand and prepare for many tests. These are available in a variety of languages for patients from a non English speaking background.
Many ill or infirm patients are unable to attend a collection centre. To cater for these patients, we supplement our collection centre service with an extensive fleet of mobile car collectors.
Our collectors can visit patients in nursing homes, private hospitals and in their own homes.

We have a collector on-call 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. If you need urgent specimens collected, simply call the central laboratory.
Our collection centres and mobile collectors are able to perform ECG tracings.
Unreported ECG's are delivered to the requesting medical practitioner as soon as possible. These are followed by tracings routinely reported by consultant physicians.

Our autologous blood collection service has been operational since 1994.
Patients can make an appointment to attend an authorised collection centre where they will be attended by specially trained collection staff.
