Our main laboratory is located in a central site next to Homebush Bay and operates 24-hours-a-day, 365 days a year.

PATHOLOGIST PROFILES
Dr Mark Tschuchnigg MB BS FRCPA FRACP
Mark Tschuchnigg is a medical graduate of the University of NSW and completed
his physician and pathology training at Westmead and St Vincents Hospitals.
He joined the practice in 1993.
He is primarily involved in histopathology and cytology reporting. He has a VMO appointment to the Western Sydney Area Health service (ICPMR Westmead) with a particular interest in haematopathology.
He has provided diagnostic services to The Strathfield Breast Centre since 1989, providing an important consultative role in the management of breast cancer patients.
Dr Juliet Burn MB BS FRCPA MIAC
Juliet Burn is a University of NSW medical graduate and completed her pathology
training at Prince of Wales Hospital. She joined the practice in 1988 and
became a principal in 1991.
She has extensive experience in histopathology and cytology and holds a VMO appointment to the Western Sydney Area Health Service (ICPMR, Westmead) and Breastscreen NSW. She participates in the NSW Breast Screening Program in Western Sydney and also provides diagnostic services to The Strathfield Breast Centre where she forms part of the multidisciplinary clinical team. Other special interests include lung pathology, gastrointestinal pathology and dermatopathology.
Dr Richard de Lambert MB BS FRCPA FRACP FCAP
Richard de Lambert graduated from Sydney University and commenced postgraduate
physician and pathology training at Royal North Shore Hospital before joining
the practice in 1974.
He is the Medical Director of Davies Campbell de Lambert Pathology and is a member of the National Pathology Medical Advisory Committee. He is a member of the Medical Advisory and Infection Control Committees at several hospitals.
He was a member of the National Pathology Accreditation Advisory Council (NPAAC) from 1997 to 2006 and is an assessor for the RCPA/NATA Laboratory Accreditation program.
His areas of specialisation are Haematology, Biochemistry and Microbiology.
Dr Shakeel Abbas MBBS MD (Path) FRCPA
Shakeel Abbas graduated from the J.N. Medical College India in 1988 and commenced
his post graduate training in February, 1989 at the J.N. Medical College India.
Shakeel immigrated to Australia in 1998 and has held registrar positions at
Austin, Dandenong, Wollongong, Liverpool, Newcastle Mater Misericordiae Hospitals
and was awarded Fellowship of the Royal College of Pathologists in Australia
in 2005. Shakeel joined the staff at Davies Campbell de Lambert in September,
2006 as a Haematologist and works at the Rhodes Laboratory, Brisbane Waters
and The Hills Private Laboratories.
Dr Zofia Perkowska-Guse MBBS DCH RCPA RACGP
Zofia Perkowska-Guse graduated from the University of Sydney in 1992. Zofia
has undertaken post graduate training at Bankstown-Lidcombe, Royal Prince
Alfred and Nepean Hospitals. She did her pathology training at St Vincent’s,
Westmead and Royal North Shore Hospitals and has experience in general practice
and sexual health. She holds a Fellowship of Royal Australian College of General
Practitioners and a diploma of Child Health. She was awarded Fellowship at
the Royal College of Pathologists of Australia in 2005. Zofia joined Davies
Campbell de Lambert in August 2006 as a Microbiologist and will be involved
in Infection Control at Sydney South West and Nepean Private Hospitals.
Dr Kenneth Lee MB CHb FRCPA
Dr Kenneth Lee graduated from University of Otago in 1999 and has held post
graduate positions in many hospitals in New Zealand. Dr Lee immigrated to
Australia in December, 2006 to join the team at Davies Campbell de Lambert.
Kenneth holds strong interests in lymph node and pulmonary pathology.
Dr Deo de Wit BSc (Hons) MB ChB Mmed MRCPath MD FRCPA
Dr de Wit is a graduate of the University of Capetown in South Africa, and
in 1990 completed his pathology training at Groote Schurr Hospital. In 1991
he completed an MD degree in which he
developed a new PCR assay for the diagnosis of Mycobacterium tuberculosis
infections. In 1991 he commenced further Microbiology and Infectious diseases
training at the Hammersmith Hospital in London. In 1992 he completed his MRCPath
and returned to Australia in 1993 to take up the position of staff specialist
microbiologist on the Central Coast of NSW and continues to hold this Public
Hospital appointment. Dr de Wit obtained his FRCPA in 1999 and holds a senior
lecturer appointment at Newcastle University. In 2003 he joined Gribbles Pathology
which later became Davies,Campbell de Lambert Pathology. He continues to work
for Davies, Campbell de Lambert in their Central Coast, Newcastle and Rhodes
laboratories as well as participating in Infection Control at a number of
Healthscope Hospitals
Dr Lynne
Tobiansky MBBCh FRCPA
Dr Tobiansky graduated from the University of Witwatersand, South Africa and
moved to Australia in 1986. She trained in pathology at the South African
Institute for Medical Research in Johannesburg and St Vincents Hospital in
Sydney in all disciplines of pathology, haematology, microbiology, chemical
pathology and histopathology. She held a consultant position as Associate
Pathologist, Davies, Campbell and de Lambert Pathology Rhodes and THE Pathology,
Fairfield Sydney. This company was later acquired by Healthscope/Davies Pathology
where Dr Tobiansky is currently General Pathologist specialising in histopathology.
She has a particular interest in skin and gastrointestinal pathology.
Dr Adrian Russell, B.Ec (Hons), B.Med (Hons) FRCPA
Dr Adrian Russell is a graduate of the University of Newcastle New South Wales
and completed his pathology training at Royal Newcastle and John Hunter Hospitals.
He is a senior staff specialist at Gosford Hospital and holds a senior lecturer
appointment with the University of Newcastle medical school. He provides diagnostic
services for the Northern Sydney Central Coast NSW Breast Screening program.
Gastrointestinal pathology is his other interest.

Established in 1952, Davies Campbell de Lambert Pathology provides a comprehensive
range of pathology services to Specialists, General Practitioners and Hospitals
throughout New South Wales. In December 2005 the practice became part of Healthscope.
